I have known Mike Smith the owner of Certified Quality Roofing for many years and he has always done great work for me. He has done two jobs for me this year (2012). The first was a remodel of my bathroom due to a water leak. This required a new shower unit as well as new wallboard. Before the remodel my wife had complained how the room would get mold despite using mold free paint. Mike went ahead, as part of the job, and added an exhaust fan even though the room has a window (what good is the window in the humid summer?). He also added some shelves in what was a wasted space in the bathroom. The new bathroom is much better that the previous one.
Right after that I found out we needed a new roof. Mike accurately determined the wood damage and how best to resolve it. He worked with us in picking a shingle that would both be durable and add to the appearance of the house (He brought out a number of samples to set up on the roof so we could choose). The crew he brought on to remove the old two layers of shingles and install the new ones were competent, polite and did a good job of cleanup (I thought I would have a real mess to clean up but have found little in terms of debris). The new roof adds to the look of the house, the small specks of red in the colonial slate shingles brings out the color in our siding.
